VN – 19 was launched in March for all photographers worldwide. 16,367 photos were submitted by 1,343 photographers from 37 countries and territories across the world, featuring six sections of Open (Colour), Open (Monochrome), Wildlife, People and Life, Travel and The Motion.

After several evaluation, 73 best photos were prized. Photographer Nguyen Huu Thong from the northern province of Bac Giang won silver medal with the photo “Bua sang o cho phien (Breakfast in the kermis)” in travel category.

Nguyen Huu Thong and his prized photo displayed at the exhibition.

Besides, photos of two other young photographers Nguyen Thanh Son and Tran Van Tuan from Bac Giang province will be displayed at the exhibition.

The event was successfully held by VAPA under the sponsorship of the Federation of International Artistic Photographic (FIAP). The contest is among the prestige events drawing the biggest number of participating photographers and photos in the year within the sponsorship of FIAP.

It is the first time Bac Giang province has had a photographer winning medal that proved for a dramatic progress of local photographic sector in the international contest.

(BGO) - The 10 International Artistic Photo Contest in Vietnam 2019 (VN - 19) was successfully held by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) under the sponsorship of the Federation of International Artistic Photographic (FIAP).
