Bac Giang promotes sales of Tan Yen early ripening lychee

(BGO) – Tan Yen district People’s Committee in the northern province of Bac Giang on May 30 held a programme to promote sales of Tan Yen early ripening lychee, a famous specialty fruit of the district.

This year, Tan Yen district has 1,340 hectares of lychee with an estimated output of 15,500 tonnes. The harvesting season of Tan Yen early ripening litchi is from late May to June 25, 2023. The district highly appreciates all domestic and export markets to sale the local special fruit. Currently, many businesses have registered to buy local lychee for export.

More than 2,000 tonnes of this year’s early ripening lychee crops have been exported to China through Kim Thanh Border Gate in Lao Cai province, announced the Customs Branch at Lao Cai International Border Gate on May 25.
