Household Vi Thanh Binh in Phuc Le village grows one hectare of early ripening lychee which is granted with GlobalGAP production certificate and qualified to export to Japan. He harvests about 10 tonnes of lychees and earns over 300 million VND this year.

According to Tan Yen Division of Agriculture and Rural Development, about 50 tonnes of early ripening lychee are bought daily to sell in Bac Giang, Hanoi, Southern localities and export to China. Photo: about 10 tonnes of lychee are daily bought at the weighting point of lychee in Thai Hoa village, Phuc Hoa commune of Vu Ngoc Giang in Hong Giang commune (Luc Ngan district) to export to China.

Currently, early ripening lychees are sold smoothly in Tan Yen district with average price of 25 – 35,000 VND per kg depending on the fruit quality (up 3-5,000 VND over last year price).
