According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA), the People’s Committee in Bac Giang city and three districts of Viet Yen, Yen Dung and Hiep Hoa received proposals from 76 turns of enterprises to support more than 5,700 turns of labours with total amount of nearly 2.9 billion VND (125,900 USD).
Official at Viet Yen division of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs instructs businesses to complete the proposal making procedure. |
So far, the People’s Committee in Bac Giang city and three above mentioned districts have approved for 32 turns of companies to assist over 3,200 employees with total paid amount of over 1.6 billion VND, in which over 3,100 people working at 25 enterprises were benefited from housing rent support and the remaining were labours returning to the market.
The province has six industrial parks with nearly 400 operating enterprises which create jobs to more than 175,700 labours, over 73,000 of whom stay at boarding house.
The housing rent support of maximum three months will partly share workers’ difficulties after long impact by Covid-19 pandemic. |
Thus, to ensure the rights of labours in line with Decision No.08, the DoLISA continues cooperating with the provincial Industrial Park Management Board, sectors and localities to enhance communication and expedite business to speed up proposal making schedule and timely pay the policy for labours.
