Bac Giang strives to create jobs to 32,000 labours in 2022

(BGO) – In 2022, Bac Giang province strives to create jobs to 32,000 labours, including 1,500 guest workers with contracts.

The vocational training facilities in the province plans to enroll and train 28,700 students to have 74 percent of trained labours, 22.5 percent of trainees passing short studying period of over three months with certificate. The province also targets to reduce the unemployment rate in urban area to 2.9 percent.

To realize the plan, in the upcoming time, Bac Giang will boost up communication and information to raise awareness about vocational training, career consultation and orientation, vocational training policy and post training job as well as orient high school students in the province so as to suit to the socio-economic development requirement in the province and country.

Local authority pays due attention to drawing projects with modern technology and great knowledge; selecting big investors with prestige and financial potential to create investment attraction momentum; focusing on small and medium projects that suit to each economic field; attracting some sectors and professions with great demand of seasonal labours to rural area to create local jobs.

The province will provide vocational training courses, assist to create jobs in line with National Target Programme of sustainable poverty reduction, socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas and new style rural building.

The vocational training establishments are urged to further investing to the facilities, training equipment; expanding the training field and scale; ensuring vocational training quality; enhancing foreign language and skill training to labour toward dual training course so as to meet the demand of provincial, domestic and foreign labour markets, especially high income markets.
