Bac Giang well prepares conditions to organize Congress of Provincial Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029
BAC GIANG - On the morning of June 25, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Thu Hong chaired a working session with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) on the results of organizing the Fatherland Front Congress at commune and district levels as well as preparation for the Congress of provincial Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.
In April 2024, all 209 commune-level units held the Fatherland Front Congress and appointed 6,782 delegates to join the commune-level FFC, term 2024-2029, including 3,796 cases of reelection (reaching 56%); 2,986 new participants (increasing 44%) and 1,081 ethnic members (accounting for 15.9%).

As of June 10, 2024, all ten districts, township and city completed the district-level Fatherland Front Congress (20 days ahead of schedule) and appointed 499 people to join the new tennure of district, township and city FFC (an increase of 19 people compared to the end of the 2019-2024 term) with a reasonable organization ensuring quantity and quality.
The new FFC of districts, township and city negotiated to appoint 36 people to join the Standing Committee.
Regarding the preparation progress of the 15th Congress of the Bac Giang provincial Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, the Standing Committee of the Provincial FFC issued a plan to organize the event and established 4 subcommittees.

As schedule, the Congress will be held in 2 days (August 22 and 23, 2024). The number of personnel is 75 people (equal to the 2019-2024 term) while 9 members will act in the Standing Committee of the 15th Provincial FFC.
