Bac Giang’s image promoted at 2022 Int’l Food Festival
This year, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Bac Giang province (DOFA) attended the event with 2 stalls accompanied by Luc Ngan Green Cooperative and Joy VN Company Limited (in Bich Dong town, Viet Yen district).

The products brought to the festival were signature ones granted with OCOP (one product, one commune product) certification including Ke dried pancake, Luc Ngan sweet pomelo, Tan Yen guava, Banh chung Van (Hiep Hoa) (Van chung cake), products of Luc Ngan Green Cooperative such as dried lychee, Chu rice noodle, veggie noodle, brown rice noodle, dried pomelo skin, daisy tea, herbal tea, oranges, jujube and products of Joy VN Company Limited like cordyceps, dried plum and rice waffle.
Within one day, the 2 food stalls of Bac Giang DOFA attracted hundreds of foreign and Vietnamese visitors, many of whom asked for the contact of the firms to buy products after the event.

According to Le Huu Nam, DOFA Vice Director, this was the 6th time Bac Giang province attended the festival. This year, there were more products of various types brought to the event. Besides, DOFA applied digital transformation in communication, promotion and payment without cash. Thereby, it contributed to promoting Bac Giang’s image to Vietnamese and foreign friends.
The international food festival is an annual event organized since 2014. This is a good opportunity for the countries to boost cultural exchanges and mutual understanding while introducing the land and people of Vietnam to international friends.

This was also a good chance for Vietnamese company to promote their trade mark, business activities, products and services to foreigners and visitors at the event. Besides, the festival was meaningful when it gave the opportunity for the organizations, units and individuals donated the Humanitarian Fund.
