Regarding the households selected as tourism destination, apart from orchard with safe and good looking fruits, they must meet the requirements of convenient accommodation and transport. The owners are instructed to conduct several skills to welcome the tourists, pick them up, introduce about the products and local cultural identities.
Nguyen Van Quyen in Kep 1 village, Hong Giang commune, Luc Ngan district shared: “On every lychee season, my family is selected by district authority to welcome visitors. Though it takes a lot of time to guide them, they buy big quantity of products”.
Quyen said his family has annually welcomed 200 delegations for 4 recent years. Now he grows 300 lychees at 25 years old. Last year, he earned some 500 million VND (21,551 USD). As schedule, his family will gain the equivalent amount for this year crop.
Now, it comes to the main lychee season, thus not only traders but also visitors in and outside the province flock to the districts with huge volume of lychee such as Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Yen The to buy the fruits and visit the fruit land.
