Over 37 tonnes of lychee sold via MoMo pocket

(BGO) – After one week selling Luc Ngan lychee online via MoMo pocket, to date over 37 tonnes of fruits have been sold online to customers in Ho Chi Minh city.

The activity under the Programme “Supporting Vietnamese farm produce” is jointly launched by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Saigon Co.op and MoMo pocket from June 10 – 30.

MoMo pocket supplies Luc Ngan lychee to customers in Ho Chi Minh city.

It is one of the new features in the lychee consumption activities this year. Via online method to buy lychee, the customers can take several advantages of using internet connected cellphone and computer to order and receive lychee at their preferred locations, enjoying 30 percent discount price comparing to direct buying method at Saigon Co.op.

Currently, more than 7,000 customers have bought lychees online via MoMo pocket which sells average of 600 kg of Luc Ngan lychee every hour.

Supporting customers to buy lychee is one of the measures to help lychee growing farmers sell the fruits easier as well as the customers in Ho Chi Minh city access to the signature and quality product with attractive price.

Fresh lychee preservation procedure completed

PM attends ceremony to send off trucks carrying lychee to major markets
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a ceremony held in the northern province of Bac Giang on June 6 to send off trucks carrying harvested lychee for consumption to both domestic and foreign markets.
