On December 18, Bac Giang Toan Yen One Member Company Limited and Cao Cuong Company Limited (Bac Giang city) presented 15 million VND (647 USD) to Oanh.

Previously, Hanoi based Phuong Anh Dental Group gave a cash bonus of 100 million VND (4,300 USD) and gift of dental and skin care worth 70 million VND (3,000 USD). Some anonymous organizations and individuals presented her 75 million VND (3,300 USD).

Especially on December 13, Oanh was awarded total bonus of nearly 120 million VND (5,100 USD) by the People’s Committee in the province and Lang Giang district as well as local agencies and enterprises at the ceremony to honor the athletes held by the provincial People’s Committee.

Thus, besides the regulated bonus, the Bac Giang born athlete has to date received nearly 300 million VND from the organizations and individuals in and outside the province.

Athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh bursts into tear after winning a gold at 30th SEA Games.

Oanh shared she has presented both material bonus and encouragement from the relatives, friends and fans in and outside the country.

Nguyen Thi Oanh was born in 1995 in My Ha commune, Lang Giang district. She is one of the bright track and field athlete in Vietnam and Southeast Asian region with many gold medals at major events in the country and region.

At the recent 30th SEA Games in the Philippines, she excellently won 3 golds at the categories of 1500 meter, 5000 meter run and 3000 steeplechase.

(BGO) – The 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 30) will officially start at the end of November 2014 in the Philippines. Since nearly four months prior to the regional sports festival, the Bac Giang born athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh has spent utmost effort on  securing the gold medals that she gained two years ago. 

25 players nominated for Golden Ball

When the bouquet welcoming Dao at the airport is still fresh, three gold medals have been temporarily stored in the cupboard, Dao has to set off to prepare for a new tournament.
