Recently, after trying the product of the Cooperative at a trade fair in Hoa Binh province, Tran Thi Hue in Son La city, (Son La province) requested to open an agent to introduce and sell the Cooperative’s products at her house. Her store sold nearly 300 products after nearly 1 month entering Son La market.

In coming time, we will expand the market to the northern provinces of Cao Bang and Bac Kan through wholesalers”, said Pham Van Thien, Director of Thien Tam Herbal Cooperative.

According to the provincial Cooperative Alliance, the Cooperative has organized 10 pavilions with more than 159 products of 29 cooperatives to be showcased the trade fairs in Hanoi city, Thai Nguyen province and Central Highland provinces. At these events, the cooperatives signed contracts and memorandum of understanding on cooperation with over 28 partners and registered to bring their products to big distribution channels and super markets such as Aeon Mall, Central Group, Vinmart, Lotte and Vinaconexmart. Thanks to the support and connection of the provincial Cooperative Alliance, the cooperatives also proactively sought market for their own products.

120 new cooperatives were established in 2022, increasing the number of cooperatives in the entire province to 1,016 with total chartered capital of over 2.4 trillion VND (102 million USD) attracting nearly 41,500 members. After being affected by Covid-19 pandemic, the cooperatives have been reinforced in management organization and fund.
