Exported quantity of Chu rice noodle increases

(BGO) – According to the Division of Economy and
Infrastructure in Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province), the district produced
more than 4,000 tonnes of Chu rice noodle in the first quarter of 2021, up
nearly 500 tonnes comparing to the same period last year. Total product value
hit about 124 billion VND (5.39 million
USD).
The noodle is smoothly sold at various foreign markets of Japan, Hong Kong, France, Czech, Cambodia, Lao, China, German and Republic of Korea.

As schedule, the exported quantity of rice noodle will go up 10 percent against last year figure, in which 10 tonnes of product was exported in the first 3 months.
The district now houses 25 cooperatives and 3 businesses who produce and consume the noodle. To focus on enhancing the noodle productivity and quality, annually the local authority mobilizes the industrial encouragement capital of province and district to support them to buy more equipment, label and package to meet the market’s demand.
