On behalf of the PPC, the PPC’s Standing Deputy Secretary Le Thi Thu Hong reported the situation and results of personnel work and implementation of political tasks in the province since the beginning of 2024.

In the first 6 months of the year, the PPC focused on leading and directing to promote socio-economic development in order to achieve positive results on all aspects.

The gross regional development product reached 14%, ranking first in the country. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations continue to have many innovations, strongly towards the grassroots.

Concluding the meeting, General Luong Cuong requested the PPC’s Executive Committee to further promote the strength of solidarity and collective intelligence, overcome difficulties and challenges, maintain growth momentum and complete the goals set at the Provincial Party Congress, 2020-2025 tenure so as to bring Bac Giang into a new stage of development.

The PPC was urged to continue leading and improving the quality of implementing socio-economic targets that have been achieved and exceeded; clearly identify the reasons for low achievement of targets in order to have fundamental, breakthrough solutions and focus resources and measures to promptly resolve them.

Also, the central leader encouraged to province to strive to basically complete the targets of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term in 2024.

Implementing PPC’s goals, targets, tasks and solutions must be done in associated with implementing Resolution No. 11 of the Politburo on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the Northern midland and mountainous region by 2030 with the vision to 2045 in order to soon develop Bac Giang into a growth pole and a driving force for regional development as directed by the Politburo.

Emphasizing the Bac Giang’s important strategic position as the northern gateway to the capital, he suggested that the province should pay attention to closely combining socio-economic development tasks with ensuring national defense and security.

Local authority should pay due attention to planning, training, fostering and preparing staff resources, especially key officials for the next term while promoting inspection and supervision, focusing on directing and improving the quality and efficiency of operations of the government, Fatherland Front, unions and agencies in the political system.

The province was ordered to highly focus on preparation work to successfully organize the party congresses at all levels and the 20th Provincial Party Congress, 2025-2030 tenure.

Regarding the recommendations and proposals of the province, General Luong Cuong assigned the Party Central Office to synthesize and proactively coordinate with the Central authorities to consider and resolve them.

Popularising Party building work - key task of local Party newspaper

BAC GIANG - Bac Giang Newspaper currently has daily, Saturday and monthly publications and an online version in Vietnamese, English and Chinese. Along with disseminating the province’s key tasks, in recent times, the newspaper has focused on innovating and improving the quality and effectiveness of popularising the work of building the Party and the political system.

15 important resolutions passed at 16th session of Bac Giang Provincial People's Council

BAC GIANG - On the morning of May 6, the 19th Bac Giang Provincial People's Council (PPC), term 2021 - 2026 held its 16th session (thematic session). The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the PPC Le Thi Thu Hong; Standing Vice Chairwoman of the PPC Lam Thi Huong Thanh and Vice Chairman of the PPC Nghiem Xuan Huong chaired the meeting. 

Bac Giang Newspaper wins first prize of writing contest on protecting Party’s ideological foundation

BAC GIANG - The winners of the third writing contest on “protecting the Party’s ideological foundation in the new situation” (2023-2024) was honoured at a ceremony in Hanoi on April 24 jointly held by People's Army Newspaper, Vietnam Journalists Association and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank.  Bac Giang Newspaper won first prize for local newspaper category.
