Hanoi belt road’s section passing Bac Giang opens to traffic

(BGO) – The project of Hanoi belt road No.4’s section passing Bac Giang province on May 1 opened technically to traffic as the set plan.

Its length was 35.55 km featuring main route and 3 branches, railway overpass (Viet Yen district) and Xuan Cam (Hiep Hoa district) – Bac Phu (Hanoi) bridge.

The contractors accelerate to complete the road surface.

The road was designed in line with the standard for third level delta road with the total width of 12 meters and surface of 11 meters.

The project was totally invested 1,230 billion VND (52.5 million USD) and executed during 2017 – 2020.

According to Ngo Thanh Duy, Vice Director of the provincial Management Board for Transport Construction and Investment Project, representative of the investor, its main route, branch No 2 and 60 percent of Xuan Cam bridge and branch No 3 have been basically completed which meant sufficient condition to open to traffic.

In which, the main route from Km0+800 (crossing the provincial road No.295B) to Km17+500 (passing the provincial road No.295) and the whole branch No 2 from the intersection with main route at Km11+00 in Dong Lo commune (Hiep Hoa district) to the intersection with national road No.37 at Km80+00 in Viet Tien commune (Viet Yen district) were eligible for technical opening from May 1.
