December 9, Bac Giang Vietnam – Korean Vocational College of Technology (VK
Tech) inked cooperative agreement on vocational education and skill development
in 2023 – 2027 period with Australian College of Tourism and
Information Technology (ACTIT) and Ho Chi Minh city based Festo
Company Limited (Festo).
The parties finalized to implement various activities to support officials, lecturers to update advanced technologoes, train and develop young talented labours, create chance for students to study in international environment with good and sustainable job opportunities, focusing on four fields of mechatronics, industrial electricity, industrial electronic, air conditioning and refrigeration engineering.

VK Tech is one of prominent facilities in vocational training which plays a key role in training human resource for Bac Giang province and adjacent localities. With education scale of over 5,000 students, VK Tech is highly appreciated among the businesses for the training quality and qualification of graduated labours.
Thanks to the training advantage, VK Tech cooperated to ink agreement with ACTIT and Festo to supply stable qualified human resource.
Festo belongs to Festo AG & Co.KG which was founded in 2008 in Germany and now operates in 61 countries nationwide with 17,600 labours. It is one of world top leading group in pneumatic automation and electronic automation.
Under the cooperative agreement, VK Tech cooperates with ACTIT to connect international vocational training programmes in term of technology to facilitate students to enroll short and long term courses in Australia.

Vocational training facilities grasp the need, focus on skill practice
(BGO) – To welcome open chances for career, vocational study
has been selected by many students after graduating from secondary and high
school. Recently, the vocational training facilities in the northern province
of Bac Giang have highly concentrated on enrollment task for new courses.
High-quality vocational training: Increasing skills, meeting market demand
(BGO) - Recently, many enterprises in
Bac Giang province, when expanding their production scale, applying technology,
and operating modern production lines, have faced difficulties due to the lack
of high-quality labor. Out of 175,000 workers working in local industrial
parks, 21% have been trained with diplomas and certificates.
Bac Giang mobilizes resources to improve vocational training quality for rural workers
(BGO)- The working delegation from the Central
agencies headed by Le Tan Dung, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social
Affairs on July 7 had a working session with Bac Giang provincial Standing Party
Committee on 10-year implementation of the Directive No 19-CT/TW (Directive 19)
dated November 5, 2012 of the Secretariat of the Central Party Committee (11th
tenure) on “Strengthening leadership of the Party in vocational training for
rural workers”.
Startup Kite contest launched for vocational education students
The contest entitled “Startup ideas for vocational education students – Startup Kite 2022” was launched by the General Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) in Ho Chi Minh City on June 24.
