These included two foreign direct investment (FDI) projects: the “Lens Accommodation Facility” by Lens Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. at Quang Chau Industrial Park (Viet Yen township), and “CK Global Vietnam,” a project to manufacture premium plastic products (3.2 million items and 480 tonnes of plastic bags annually), by investors from the United States and South Korea.
These two projects have a combined registered capital of over 35.1 million USD.
The authority also approved capital adjustments for seven projects, resulting in an additional 15.8 million USD and nearly 136 billion VND in investment (5.9 million USD).
Since the beginning of 2025, the IPMB has issued new investment registration certificates for 14 projects (eight FDI and six domestic), with total registered capital reaching 55.14 million USD and 13.6 trillion VND.
Adjustments to 30 existing projects have brought in an additional 153.6 million USD and nearly 165 billion VND. By the end of May 2025, the total capital increase was over 772.7 million USD, achieving 64.4% of the annual target.
These results are attributed to the province’s proactive investment promotion policies and commitment to supporting investors through site clearance and administrative facilitation.
The IPMB has also assisted investors in preparing infrastructure project documentation and ensured progress on both the projects and the province’s 2025 investment targets.
Efforts have also been made to accelerate land clearance for existing and planned industrial parks. By mid-2025, Bac Giang had completed clearance on 138.5 hectares, meeting 69.25% of the annual goal.
