The provincial Labour Federation (PLF) presented over 1.6 billion VND (68,200 USD), in which PLF donated 10 million VND, 10,000 face masks, 370 handrubs; trade unions at all levels contributed 822.5 million VND; trade unionists and workers at the enterprises sent 25,781 messages worth 680 million VND.

Speaking at the event, FFC Chairman Tran Cong Thang expressed the thanks to the donors and hoped that the businesses and individuals will contribute more efforts, materials, ideas to accompany the province in Covid-19 prevention and control.

Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Moc hands over the donation to leader of Tri Yen communal People's Committee.

Additionally, Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Moc (born in 1930), mother of martyr Nguyen Hong Van in Duc Thanh village, Tri Yen commune (Yen Dung district) spent 2 million VND from the social allowance for the martyrs’ relative and elderly to support the local authority in pandemic combat.

Representative of Viet Yen district FFC received the expenses, medical materials and essential goods donated by 9 collectives and individuals in the district for disease control and prevention. As of April 6, the district FFC received the donation from 132 organizations and individuals, including nearly 440 million VND (18,700 USD) and more than 47,200 face masks, 4,000 medical gloves, 1,300 tonnes of rice and several medical materials, food and others.

Bac Giang expands screening tests to detect Covid-19 infections
