Organization and individuals donate nearly 40 billion VND to Bac Giang in Covid-19 fight
* Aid Committee under Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) in Hai Duong province transferred 2 billion VND (86,700 USD) from the provincial Fund for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to the FFC in Bac Giang province as the joint effort against the pandemic.

* Several enterprises joined hands with the local authorities to combat the disease. They included Truong An Viet Yen Golf Investment Joint Stock Company (JSC) (3 billion VND or over 130,000 USD); Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (2 billion VND or 86,700 USD); Truong Thinh Phat Group (1 billion VND); Vietnam Electricity Corporation (500 million VND); Bac Giang branch of Agribank (300 million VND); Tan Thinh Construction Company Limited (150 beds worth 330 million VND) among others.
* At the same day, Hanoi based Vaco Vietnam Audit Financial Consultancy Co.,Ltd and Bac Giang based Minh Hoang Long Co.,Ltd coordinated to present 15 boxes of oral rehydration salt, 15 boxes of juice and others with total value of 7.5 million VND to officials, doctors and nurses from Quang Ninh province coming to support Bac Giang in the Covid-19 fight. Previsouly, Minh Hoang Long Co.,Ltd handed over 20 million VND to Viet Yen district.

* On May 17, Vice President of Vietnam Confederation of Labour (VNCL) Ngo Duy Hieu visited Bac Giang province and handed over 200 million VND from VNCL’s fund to support the local labourers. On the occasion, Vietnam Theatre presented the necessities (more than 100 boxes of instant noodle) to the workers impacted by the pandemic.
As of 4 pm on May 17, Bac Giang province received more than 39 billion VND (1.69 million USD) donated for local task of disease prevention and control, including over 27 billion VND of cash, food, equipment, protective suits and materials.
