The annual congress drew the attendance of leading experts and doctors from Asia-Pacific region.

A report on abdominal pregnancy presented by doctors from the Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital received praises from the participants.

Director of the hospital Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Duy Anh told that abdominal pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy, with only 30 cases recorded in the world so far.

Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital successfully diagnosed and gave timely and accurate treatment to the patient, he said, expressing his hope that the report will help other hospitals to save the lives of patients in similar cases.
