Accordingly, the festival is scheduled on February 11 – 12, 2020 (Lunar January 18-19 year of the Rat). The event will feature several activities of culture, art, sports, attractive tradition and folk games to draw the attention of numerous visitors, typically as ceremony to name and inaugurate the homestay; sacral and incense offering rituals; art performance at the ceremony to announce the Decision of the provincial People’s Committee to recognize the community based tourism site of Ven village.

At the same time, the festival will organize the vibrant sports and cultural activities of Soft Volleyball Championship in Yen The district; public art festival; contest of ethnic costume beauty in Yen The district in 2020; ecological and experimental tour to Nga waterfall and Ven village; competitions of tug of war, crossbow; exchange of Sinh, Soong Hao, Then singing...

The festival organization contributes to educating the patriotism, the national pride and solidarity among the Vietnamese ethnic communities, raising the awareness in preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage values as well as honoring the cultural identities of the ethnic groups in Yen The district.

Also, the event helps satisfy the residents and visitors’ demand of enjoying the spiritual cultural values; encourages the people of all strata to be active in the emulative movements of working, production and economic development as well as contributes to successfully realize the targets and tasks to develop the provincial socio economy in 2020.
