Bac Giang: 4 products honored as Vietnam Agricultural Gold Brand

(BGO) - The Vietnam General Council of Agriculture and Rural Development on September 20 held a ceremony to honour Vietnam Agricultural Gold Brands in 2020 in Hanoi.

The Organization Board coordinated with the localities to survey and select more than 1,450 agricultural products from the areas and regions across the country.

Basing on the set of criteria, the Voting Council at grass roots level (primary round conducted by the localities and customers) selected 351 brands and farming products with good quality, famous brands to submit to the Central Voting Council to select and award the Vietnam Agricultural Gold Brands in 2020.

As result, 80 prominent brands and products were selected and awarded the title, 4 of which are from Bac Giang province, including Luc Ngan lychee, Ven village green tea, Tay Yen Tu honey (Son Dong district) and Yen The hill chicken. These brands belong to the organizations with currently sustainable and effective production and business.

This is the sixth event launched by Vietnam General Council of Agriculture and Rural Development to enhance the brand value for farm produce in domestic and foreign markets while offering chances for localities, businesses and organization to coordinate and link in product consumption.
