The planning area is located in Nenh town, Hong Thai and Quang Minh communes in Viet Yen district. It borders Co river to the North (Quang Minh and Hong Thai communes), Hanoi – Lang Son railway to the South and East, national road No.37 to the Northeast, provincial road No.298 to the West.

The research area for planning covers about 49.58ha with estimated population of 1,800 people which is to build ICD, commercial, logistic service and urban area with modern and synchronous social and technical infrastructures.

The general architecture and landscape spaces of logistics service area, container station and warehouse are core function and constructed in associated with railway station and main roads linking to national road No.37, provincial road No.295B and 298, belt road No.4 to ensure commodity transportation for international intermodal railway station.

Major items are prioritized for construction including technical infrastructure of road, power supply system, water supply and drainage…; public buildings of school, commercial service, cultural house…; ICD and logistics area.
