Bac Giang earns over 800 billion VND from OCOP
BAC GIANG- In implementation of the One Commune One Product programme (OCOP), Bac Giang province currently has 385 OCOP products rated from 3 star or higher, up 95 products compared to 2023, exceeding the plan by 10 products, including 1 product (Luc Ngan Hong Xuan lychee) meeting 5-star national standards and 2 potential 5-star products (Bac Giang lychee and longan pulp), according to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD).
Some localities have effectively implemented the OCOP programme including the districts of Luc Ngan, Yen The, Tan Yen and Bac Giang city.

In order to support the production entities to expand the consumption market, DARD collaborated with related agencies to attend 11 domestic exhibitions and events to promote hundreds of OCOP products in 2024. As a result, the OCOP product’s value achieved over 800 billion VND (31.37 million USD), a surge of 15 percent against 2023.
The agricultural sector of Bac Giang province will continue boosting effective implementation of the OCOP programme and strictly managing certified OCOP products in 2025.
Besides, this agency will implement policies to encourage development of OCOP products in accordance with the resolution of the provincial People’s Council, review planning implementation of material areas for OCOP development and attach the material areas with intensive processing and product promotion and consumption. It is targeted to add at least 40 OCOP products rated from 3 star this year.
BAC GIANG - Many entities with rated products under One Commune One Product programme (OCOP) in Son Dong district (Bac Giang province) continue to improve packaging, production lines, enhance product quality, expand sales "channels", especially exploiting digital platforms to bring products to market.
For the first time, Vietnam is showcasing its OCOP (One Commune, One Product) products at the prestigious AF-L'ARTIGIANO IN FIERA International Handicraft Fair 2024, held in Milan, Italy, from November 30 to December 8.
BAC GIANG – The Bac Giang provincial People's Committee has just approved the results of evaluation, classification and certification of products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Programme in the first phase of 2024.

BAC GIANG - The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just coordinated to open 2024 Mekong Delta OCOP (One Commune One Product) product connection forum in Kien Giang province. Bac Giang province displays a booth to introduce a number of local OCOP products.
