Bac Giang ranks second at Contest for Excellent Student of Gifted Schools at Northern coastal and delta region
BAC GIANG - On April 21 and 22, the 16th Contest for Excellent Student of Gifted High Schools in the Northern coastal and delta region took place at Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted in Ninh Binh Province.
The competition gathered over 2,100 students from Grades 10 and 11, representing 46 specialized high schools across provinces, cities and university-affiliated institutions.

Bac Giang High School for the Gifted sent 72 students competing in 24 teams across 12 subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography, English, French, Japanese and Chinese.
An impressive 69 out of 72 students earned awards, including 17 Gold Medals, 9 Silver Medals, 24 Bronze Medals and 19 Consolation Prizes.
With this result, Bac Giang ranked second out of 46 high schools in terms of both the quantity and quality of awards.
The top-performing school was Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted in Nam Dinh province with 21 Gold Medals, 20 Silver Medals, 13 Bronze Medals and 10 Consolation Prizes.
This annual competition provides a valuable opportunity for teachers and students from specialized schools to exchange experiences and enhance the quality of gifted education while also identifying candidates for the national team.
