The province’s industrial production value (current prices) was estimated at over 78 trillion VND (3.4 billion USD) in May, bringing the five-month total to approximately 338.8 trillion VND—up 27.06% year-on-year. The foreign-invested sector contributed the most, with over 300 trillion VND.

The main driver of growth was the electronic components sector, which holds a large share of the province’s industrial output.

Notably, companies under the Foxconn and Luxshare groups maintained high production capacity and played a key role in the overall performance. For example, Luxshare Van Trung Co., Ltd. generated estimated revenue of more than 7.5 trillion VND in May, while Fukang Technology Co., Ltd. earned about 21.5 trillion VND.

To sustain industrial growth, Bac Giang will continue to support production activities, address labor recruitment needs and ensure safe and stable power supply for businesses. The province also aims to resolve issues related to land access and product distribution.

Local authorities plan to intensify efforts to eliminate barriers hindering production and business activities, facilitate resource mobilization and allocation and speed up administrative reforms. These measures are intended to improve the business climate and attract more investment to the province.

Bac Giang focuses on site work for industrial parks with clear roadmap

BAC GIANG – For years, Bac Giang province has considered industrial development as a central pillar and key driver of economic growth. To support this vision, the provincial People’s Committee has instructed relevant departments and localities to concentrate resources on clearing land for newly established and expanding industrial parks.
