The plan aims to enhance the quality of vocational education, create high quality human resources to meet the requirement of socio-economic development, boost up industrialization, modernization and internal integration. Also, good execution of employment helps reduce the poverty sustainably and lower unemployment rate.

Accordingly, the province strives to create job for 32,500 labours, 1,650 of whom work abroad under labour contract. The vocational training facilities in the province enroll and train 29,000 people. 76 percent of local labours are trained, 33 percent of whom are trained at least 3 months with training certificate. The unemployment rate at urban area must be down to 2.65 percent.

To realize this goal, Bac Giang reinforces vocational communication, orientation and consultation; popularizes the vocational training and employment policies for local labours. Local authority has pay due attention to directing and attracting modern projects with high knowledge content invested by big and prestigious investors with financial potential to widespread the investment attraction.

The province also welcomes small and medium sized projects which suit to each economic sectors, especially those with high demand of rural labour.

Besides, the province improves the efficiency of exporting labour under contract; orients and selects prestigious markets with high income; prioritizes qualified labours to work abroad. Information about labour export programme directly launched by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs will be updated and popularized for local labours.

Bac Giang focuses on persuading migrant workers to strictly follow the labour contract inked with foreign employer and avoid breaking the agreement to stay illegally abroad.

Socialization on vocational training will be well implemented while more businesses are encouraged to participate in vocational training in association with job creation.

Authority offers capital loan to support employment while prioritizes investment to small and medium businesses to attract local labours.

(BGO) –According to the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs ( DoLISA), 33,600 labours in Bac Giang province were employed in 2022, surpassing 0.5 percent of the set target, over 31,700 of whom worked domestically and others worked abroads.
