Living near the Bac Giang provincial Hospital of Tumour, the barber witnesses the miserable patients from many locations coming here for treatment who are exhausted in both physical strength and spirit. Tam deeply sympathies with the paint and difficulties of the patients because his family lost a member due to severe illness.
The poor condition does not allow him to support them in cash so he helps them within his ability. Seeing that it’s hard for the patients to go out for a haircut, especially those under long treatment, Tam decided to go to the provincial Hospital of Tumour to give them free haircut.
In the first days, many people felt his action strange but now everyone is familiar with the image of the barber who gives haircut for the patients in the hospital corridor. During cutting hair, he talks to the patients humorously and encourages them to overcome the diseases.
Later on, Tam rides his motorbike to the General Hospital in Tan Yen district, the provincial Hospital for Rehabilitation and others to deliver the good deeds. Once he gave haircut to 50 patients, including many paralysis patients.

He shared: “Obviously, it is harder to make haircut to the paralysis patients that requests me to be more forbearing and constant like caring for them”.
In the upcoming time, apart from the working time to earn a living in his commune, Tam plans to visit other hospitals in the province to help the patients.
Each person has his own way to deliver the charity work. The humanitarian thinking and action of the barber Hoang The Tam are so simple but practical to partially share the difficulties with the needy and encourage them conquer the life challenge.
