Nearly 3 million USD allocated to upgrade VK Tech

– This year, the northern province of Bac Giang allocated 70 billion VND (nearly
3 million USD) as the investment to facility upgrading project serving key
vocational training at Vietnam – Korean Vocational College of Technology (VK
Tech).
The construction will be started in the third quarter and VK Tech plays the role of the investor to upgrade modern teaching equipment and utilities in different careers of electronic, industrial electricity, information technology and automation technology among others.

As scheduled, the project will be executed in 2023 – 2024 period. Its completion helps improve the quality of teaching and studying activities.

International cooperation in vocational education and skill development

December 9, Bac Giang Vietnam – Korean Vocational College of Technology (VK
Tech) inked cooperative agreement on vocational education and skill development
in 2023 – 2027 period with Australian College of Tourism and
Information Technology (ACTIT) and Ho Chi Minh city based Festo
Company Limited (Festo).
12 teachers and managers in vocational education receive Tran Dai Nghia Awards
The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee held a ceremony on December 2 to present the first Tran Dai Nghia Award in 2022, to 12 outstanding teachers and managers in vocational education.

industrial park (Bac Ninh province) jointly cooperated with Vietnam Korean
Vocational College of Technology (VK Tech) to offer Samsung scholarship in 2022
– 2023 academic year. To receive such scholarship, the candidate must pass
examination and skill test by the company.
High-quality vocational training: Increasing skills, meeting market demand
(BGO) - Recently, many enterprises in
Bac Giang province, when expanding their production scale, applying technology,
and operating modern production lines, have faced difficulties due to the lack
of high-quality labor. Out of 175,000 workers working in local industrial
parks, 21% have been trained with diplomas and certificates.
Bac Giang mobilizes resources to improve vocational training quality for rural workers
(BGO)- The working delegation from the Central
agencies headed by Le Tan Dung, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social
Affairs on July 7 had a working session with Bac Giang provincial Standing Party
Committee on 10-year implementation of the Directive No 19-CT/TW (Directive 19)
dated November 5, 2012 of the Secretariat of the Central Party Committee (11th
tenure) on “Strengthening leadership of the Party in vocational training for
rural workers”.
