Representatives of sectors, agencies and localities in the province donate to the Fund for the Poor at the launching ceremony of Action Month for the Poor 2019.

Additionally, the “Fund for the Poor” in the districts, city, communes and towns called for a donation of over 7 billion VND (302,500 USD), typically Lang Giang (1.1 billion VND), Hiep Hoa (930 million VND), Bac Giang city (900 million VND)...

The fund was used to support to build new houses, repair the great unity houses, present Tet gifts and production materials, provide emergency aid and scholarships to the disadvantaged cases, orphan students, poor households and near poor families and those living in difficulties in the province.

The provincial FFC is calling for more donation from the organizations and individuals to raise the fund to help the poor overcome the life challenges.

The Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) at all levels has boosted up the communication and mobilized all sources to diversify the support for the needy.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has called on the whole nation to work together to help the poor escape poverty ensuring no one is left behind.

Peak month “For the poor” launched

(BGO) - In order to implement the action month “For the Poor” 2019 launched from 17 October to 18 November, the Fatherland Front and the Board for mobilising “Fund for the poor” of Bac Giang city in northern province of Bac Giang mobilized each public official and laborer in the armed forces, enterprises and public-service delivery agencies to donate at least one-day’s wage/income.
