At the meeting, the PPC Chairman Nguyen Van Linh welcomed the Ambassador to visit the province in such a meaningful season of the upcoming Lunar New Year. He briefed the guest on the provincial socio-economy and natural conditions, pressing that Bac Giang has numerous advantages on agricultural development that brings the major income to the locals.

The Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Linh briefed the Ambassador on the local socio-economic situation.

Therefore, the province has paid due attention to the technology of product processing and post-harvest preservation. The PPC Chairman expected the Israeli counterparts to boost up the delivery and support of the new technology to the province in the farming sector, hence contributing to improving the value of agricultural products. The first target was set to effectively operate the Juran technology to preserve the fresh lychees in 2019.

After the discussion, the Ambassador informed that many students at Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University have participated in the internship programmes in Israel and applied the gained knowledge into the actual work. Besides, the country has welcomed the provincial officers to learn about the electronic government.

The Ambassador encouraged the province to assign more officers to Israel for short training courses in the future while proposing to execute 3 projects in Bac Giang such as supporting the children with disabilities, training the medical staff on high-level first aid and introducing the advanced technology to the province. Regarding the Juran technology, the Ambassador promised to expedite the technology owner to promptly handle the shortcomings.

The PPC Chairman expressed his high consensus on the projects the Ambassador proposed and assigned the provincial departments of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs and Red Cross Society to collaborate in execution.

Also, he took the occasion to present a gift of local signature product to the Ambassador.

(BGO) – The Israeli expert delegation led by Khaled Khalefa, President of Arab Council for Foreign Relations on September 26 had a working session about preservation technology for the lychee and agricultural products in the northern province of Bac Giang.

(BGO) – The Department of Science and Technology in Bac Giang province has reported to complete installing the technology line of Israeli Juran company on preserving lychees at Toan Cau Food Export and Import Joint Stock Company (Luc Ngan district).
