Truong Phi Hung, an eleventh grader of Physics Class in Bac Giang High School
for the Gifted has recently won a silver medal at European Physics Olympiad
(EuPhO), reported the Department of Education and Training.
Truong Phi Hung was born in Huong Son commune, Lang Giang district (Bac Giang province). Previously, he bagged Broze medal at Physics Unlimited Premier Competition in 2022; Second Prize at National Contest for Excellent Student in Physics in 2022 – 2023 academic year; Bronze medal at Contest for Excellent Student of high schools for the gifted in the Northern delta and costal region in 2022 among others.

EuPhO is an annual continental contest for high school students across European countries and some guest nations. This year event took place from June 16 – 20, 2023 in the Federal Republic of Germany with 181 students from 38 countries and territories. All five candidates of Vietnam team won medals, including 1 gold, 3 silvers and 1 bronze.
Thus, since 1996, seven students at Bac Giang High School for the Gifted has participated in the Asian, European and international Olympiads with 10 medals.
Since the beginning of this year, the school has had 3 medal winners including Than The Cong ( bronze medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad); Giap Vu Son Ha (silver medal at the Abu Reikhan Beruniy International Chemistry Olympiad) and Truong Phi Hung (silver medal at the European Physics Olympiad).

Germany scholarship offered to three students in Bac Giang
(BGO) – Three students in Bac Giang Industrial Technical
College have been granted with scholarship by the Hessen Ministry of Science
and the Arts and the
World University Service
of the Federal Republic of Germany in the academic year 2022-2023. The annual scholarship is awarded to impoverished students at Northern universities and colleges with good result.

their hard-working study, practice and practical experience, students equipped
with good skills have many opportunities to apply for high-income positions.
4 candidates from Bac Giang win first prize at national excellent student contest
(BGO)- The Education Quality Management Agency
(under the Ministry of Education and Training) on March 13 announced the
results of the national excellent student contest in the academic year
2022-2023. 59 out of 89 candidates from Bac Giang province won prizes including
4 first prizes, 14 second prizes, 16 third prizes and 25 consolation prizes.
Most of the students are from Bac Giang High School for Gifted Students.
