According to the design, the 8.8-km road starts at the intersection with National Highway 37 and ends at Quynh market. It features a 58.5-m-wide roadbed, six lanes of two-way traffic, side access roads, sidewalks and medians.
The road is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027. It is expected to enhance connectivity to the Tay Yen Tu heritage site, Suoi Mo ecological tourist area and Bat Nha Pagoda.
The route will also ease east-west traffic flow in Luc Nam and reduce pressure on Luc Nam Bridge. Once My An Port is fully linked to road 293, the project will further meet growing transport demands.
