Amid many difficulties, the province gained positive result in socio-economic situation in May and the first 5 months of this year. Covid-19 pandemic was well controlled so the people’s life resumed stable condition. Organization tasks for the 31st Southeast Asian Games were smooth.

Concluding the event, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong urged localities and sectors to review and assess implementation of socio-economic development plan for the first six months by the end of June; define key tasks to complete in the next six months with priority taken to well fulfil economic criteria on agriculture, industry, service and trade, budget collection and tourism development.

All bodies must concentrate to speed up progress of public investment capital disbursement, especially for big and key projects in the province while the investors were ordered to prepare condition for urgent commencement of remaining projects. Basically, new projects should be started in June this year to accelerate the capital disbursement progress.

The sectors and localities were requested to synchronously and effectively implement tasks and solutions in lychee production and consumption; boost up domestic sale amid many obstacles in export. The forest management and protection should be reinforced while strictly punishing any violation.

The Medical sector should well organize Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 5 to under 12 safely and effectively while removing difficulties in buying medical equipment and material for hospitals to serve patient treatment and health examination.

The Educational sector should direct units to instruct students to review knowledge for entrance exam to grade 10 at academic year 2022 – 2023, prepare condition to hold Highschool graduation exam in 2022.

All sectors and localities were ordered to well conduct social welfare policies, prepare activities to mark War Invalids and Martyrs’Day (July 27); promptly disburse the house renting support for workers among others.
