Bac Giang municipal Party and Government make debut
BAC GIANG – The Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang City (Bac Giang province) on January 15 solemnly held an event to mark the debut of the municipal Party Committee and Government according to Resolution No. 1191/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee (Resolution 1191).
The event was attended by Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

On September 28, 2024, the NA Standing Committee issued Resolution 1191 on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels of Bac Giang province during 2023-2025 period.
Accordingly, the entire natural area of 191.74 square kilometers and population of 176,980 people of Yen Dung district were merged into Bac Giang city.
After merging, Bac Giang city has a natural area of 258.29 square kilometers and a population of 371,151 people.
Lao Ho commune was merged into Tan An town to form Tan An ward and 12 new wards were established; Le Loi ward was merged into Tran Phu ward to form Tran Phu ward; Tran Nguyen Han ward was merged into Ngo Quyen ward to form Ngo Quyen ward.
After the arrangement, Bac Giang city has 31 commune-level administrative units; including 21 wards and 10 communes.
At the ceremony, Ngo Van Nam, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, announced the resolutions and decisions of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work in Bac Giang City.
The Bac Giang municipal Party Committee Executive Committee consists of 58 members, the municipal Party Committee Standing Committee consists of 15 members and the municipal Party Committee Standing Committee consists of 4 members.

Speaking at the meeting, the provincial Party Chief Nguyen Van Gau congratulated the Bac Giang City Party Committee for officially entering a new stage of development.
He requested the municipal Party Committee to strengthen the building, consolidation and promotion of the tradition of solidarity, determination and resoluteness to effectively implement the proposed political tasks, making an important contribution to the overall development of the province and the country.
BAC GIANG - The Party Committee and the government of Bac Giang City (Bac Giang province) have recently focused resources on investing in a synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure, thereby helping create an important premise for Bac Giang City to develop rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably as a green and smart urban area.
Bac Giang – In response to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods”, major trading enterprises, business establishments, and convenience stores in Bac Giang city have strengthened their links to distribute many domestically-produced essential consumer products; and organized activities to stimulate shopping demand.
BAC GIANG - The Bac Giang City Party Committee on October 21 held a conference to disseminate and deploy the plan of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee on the implementation of National Assembly Standing Committee’s Resolution No. 1191/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated September 28, 2024 about the arrangement of administrative units at the district and commune levels of Bac Giang province during 2023 – 2025 period (Resolution No. 1191).
BAC GIANG- Bac Giang city is targeted to complete 100 percent of the key construction projects in 2024. Recently, the local government, competent agencies and related units have actively directed and collaborated to speed up the project progress in the spirit of determination and responsibility.
BAC GIANG - The integration of Yen Dung district into Bac Giang city aligns with historical, cultural conditions, and development trends, contributing to creating new growth spaces and dynamics that enable the city to develop in line with its role as the political, cultural, and economic center of Bac Giang province.
BAC GIANG- Many schools in Bac Giang city fail to meet the demand due to urban development and population growth. In order to surmount the limitations, Bac Giang city prioritizes resources to improve school facilities. A number of projects are being accelerated to come into use ahead the new school year.
