Bac Giang prolongs quarantine to 28 days for people returning from Bach Mai Hospital
Accordingly, it requires the steering committee for Covid-19 prevention and control at all levels and sectors to urgently implement some measures such as extending quarantine period from 14 days to 28 days (since returning to the locality) for those connected to the source of infection from Bach Mai Hospital.

Besides, people returning from abroad and foreigners coming to Bac Giang have to self-quarantine at home 14 days more. The steering committee of the communes, wards and towns is tasked to provide health supervision and temperature check twice a day with record management of each person.
Since 9 April 2020, Bac Giang citizens are not allowed to visit the virus-hit provinces and cities including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and affected provinces. For special circumstance, they must notice the district or municipal steering committee before leaving and undertake 14-day concentrated isolation after returning then continue self-quarantining at home within 14 days.
People returning Bac Giang from affected localities will be put in 28-day self-quarantine (for those having Bac Giang permanent residence) and 14-day concentrated isolation (for those without Bac Giang permanent residence).
People coming from Hanoi to work in the province’s industrial parks are required to declare health status and travel history within 14 days before entering Bac Giang to the provincial Industrial Zones Authority and take Covid-19 tests.
If they are tested negative, the provincial Industrial Zones Authority shall grant certification allowing them to travel from their place of residence to the working place and vice versa (only permitted to travel to these 2 destinations).
In the next 7 or 10 days, they must take Covid-19 test for second time (the testing expenses will be covered by the individuals or companies).
People from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and other virus-hit provinces are required to contact the provincial Steering Committee at the hotline 0967 721 919 of the Health Department before coming to Bac Giang for essentials to be permitted and guided preventive measures to avoid Covid-19 spread in the province.
