To bring the special sports event to numerous spectators and people, SEA Games 31 Organization Committee and Vietnam Television (VTV) assigned BGTV to broadcast live all competitions and transmiss direct signals to the SEA Games 31’s International Broadcast Center (IBC) so as to make live broadcast to foreign countries.

Bac Giang provincial Gymnasium is the competition venue for badminton at SEA Games 31.

To well fulfil the task, BGTV assigned nearly 30 officials, editors, reporters and technicians to participate in training course; prepared mobile broadcast vehicle and cooperated with VTV to connect more advanced equipment.

SEA Games 31 will be hosted by Vietnam from May 12 - 23, with regional athletes coming together to compete in 40 sports. Competitions will take place in Hanoi and 11 neighbouring localities in the north of Vietnam.

The opening ceremony will take place in the evening of May 12, 2022 at My Dinh National Stadium while the closing ceremony will be held on May 23, 2022 at Hanoi Athletics Palace.

Badminton will be competed in Bac Giang city with 127 athletes from eight participating countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam.
