Organizing Committee for badminton event at SEA Games 31 closely cooperates, prepares all programmes to ensure safety and security
To date, local organizations and agencies have focused on completing various tasks of welcome, reception, communication, public security and medical among others to serve badminton event at SEA Games 31 in Bac Giang.

The organizers completed installing inner lighting system, added basement and flag pole for participating countries in front of the provincial Gymnasium while gathering the competition carpets with international standard as well as arranging warm-up practice room for athletes…
Speaking at the event, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son urged each member of the Organization Committee to review the assigned tasks, timely supplement and adjust the content basing on the lesson learnt from recent National Badminton Championship for Excellent Players.
The provincial leaders requested to arrange qualified power generator as the requirement of international tourney; urgently recover all shortcomings and equip spare sound system to ensure management task in emergency case.
He suggested Vietnam Sports Administration to provide sufficient network diagram and technical data for the local competent agencies to prepare installing programmes, ensure the line speed to meet the requirement from the Central Organization Committee for SEA Games 31.
To ensure health condition for athletes and delegates, PPC Vice Chairman ordered the Department of Health to arrange rooms for first aid and temporary quarantine at the gymnasium; plan to buy or call for sponsor of medical supplies and medicine for the event; closely cooperate with Muong Thanh hotel to finalize the menu so as to ensuring the food safety and quality during their accommodation.
The provincial public security force was urged to arrange enough man power for guiding and routing the traffic; practice programmes to ensure public security and tightly control over the event participants.

Pressing on the importance of the event, especially to create and promote the culture and tradition of Bac Giang, PPC Vice Chairman requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to collaborate with relevant agencies to make plan, arrange tour guide and pick up vehicles for delegations if they wish to travel to local destinations while suitably organizing booths selling souvenir and One Commune One Product outside the gymnasium.
At the same day, the local Organization Committee visited provincial Cheo (satirical musical) Theater to rehearse the art programme to entertain badminton athletes and technical delegates participating SEA Games 31 in Bac Giang at the welcoming ceremony.
The programme themed “Bac Giang, Viet Nam, my homeland” consists of four special sections of singing, dancing, Chau van and Then folk singing performed by artists at Bac Giang provincial Cheo Theater.
