Doctor Tran Thi Ha Phuong conquers peak of knowledge
Determination to conquer the knowledge
As a smart student with passion for study, Ha Phuong used to set the studying goals in each academic year and focused on conquering the knowledge. She had won several achievements in the contest for excellent students at all levels of city and province.

Though Ha Phuong was interested in business and passed the entrance examination to National Economics University with 28 scores, she selected to follow Department of Mathematics – Informatics in Hanoi University of Education (HUE). After graduating in 2004, she decided to return to hometown to work at Bac Giang Senior High School for Gifted Students.
Here, she is accompanied by devoted colleagues and participates in fostering the team of national excellent students. The young teacher defended the master thesis in 2007 and continued researching the topic of “Mathematics Theory and Teaching Methodology” at the HUE in 2014.

Many students of teacher Tran Thi Ha Phuong won high prizes at the contest for excellent students in maths at provincial and national levels. Typically Le Trung Kien at K14 won third national prize in the academic year 2005 – 2006; La Van Quan at K20 bagged third national prize in the academic year 2012-2013; Nguyen Thi Huyen at K23 earned third national prize in academic year 2015 – 2016 among others. |
The most difficulty Phuong encountered during research process was a few of mathematics reference in Vietnam while it was too expensive to buy the book from foreign countries (sometimes it costed over 50 Euro for only one chapter.)
She faced a lot of challenges in one year. Later on, teacher Phuong contacted to old student Hoang The Anh, the former student at Bac Giang Senior High School for Gifted Students, champion of Road to Olympia 2013 programme who is studying at Swinburne Technology University, Melbourne (Australia) and asked for his help to search and exploit more information at the electronic library of his university.
Hence, the teacher was able to approach to new sources of knowledge to effectively apply in her topic and excellently defend the thesis to receive the Doctorate Degree in March 2019.
Responsibility upholding
Teacher Phuong considers that in the present society, any occupation requires hard work and high responsibility. To conquer the challenges, the most important thing is the optimistic vision a head so as to win over the social barrier and prejudice as well as self made suspect.
She cleverly applies the knowledge from studying and researching processes into teaching together with her colleges.

Through the knowledge and normal sharing, teacher Phuong always encourages and stimulates the students to live positively, honestly with full responsibility to personal and others so as to have dream and strive to realize it.
To date, teacher Phuong has had hundreds of students studying, working and researching in Vietnam and other countries. With such achievement, teacher Tran Thi Ha Phuong was honored with Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the provincial Labor Confederation.
Additionally, the love and belief from students, their parents and colleagues are the special rewards for the Educational Science Doctor with passion for study, good profession, devotion and responsibility.
