The event belongs to the competition system of Vietnam Athletics Federation as a playground for many professional and amateur athletes, especially who had successful competing season at the 30th SEA Games.

Nguyen Thi Oanh wins champion title at the tournament.

3 disciplines for professionals (men 7.7 kilometer and women 5.4 kilometer); young athlete (men 6 kilometer and women 5.4 kilometer); and amateurs (21 kilometer and 10 kilometer) were held at the tournament.

8 members in the track and field team of Bac Giang province joined the professional and amateur disciplines at the event. Nguyen Thi Oanh proved her prominent level and won the champion title at the professional women’s 5.4 kilometer category as well as together with her teammate secured the third position for the professional women’s team content.

It was Oanh’s first title in 2020 while another Bac Giang’s athlete Duong Thi Uyen won first prize in the discipline of amateur women’s 10 kilometer.

(BGO) – In the evening of December 11, Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DoCST) Tran Minh Ha and leader of the Center for Sports Training and Competition in the northern province of Bac Giang arrived at Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) to welcome and congratulate track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh who returned from the Philippines after participating in the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games).

(BGO) – At 16h30 (Vietnam time) on December 10, track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh (Bac Giang province) excellently won the gold medal at 3000 meter steeplechase event with an achievement of 10 minutes two milliseconds at the ongoing 30th SEA Games.

Athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh takes great effort to secure crown at Sea Games 30

(BGO) – The 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 30) will officially start at the end of November 2014 in the Philippines. Since nearly four months prior to the regional sports festival, the Bac Giang born athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh has spent utmost effort on  securing the gold medals that she gained two years ago.
