(BGO) – The National Freelance and Traditional
Wrestling Championship 2020 for the youth was jointly held from July 18-26 by
Vietnam Sports Administration, Vietnam Wrestling Federation, Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism in Thanh Hoa province at the provincial Sports
Competition Hall.
The event drew 600 young athletes from 22 provinces, cities and sectors across the nation to vie for medal at several weight categories for male and female at the age groups of 14-15, 16-17, 18-20 of two content freelance and traditional wrestling with total of 94 sets of medals.

The championship provided localities and units with chance to assess the result of training the young athletes as the basic for the national wrestling team to select the excellent faces to the young and national teams to prepare for the upcoming international tourneys.
43 athletes from Bac Giang team joined the event. After 9 day competition with high spirit, Bac Giang team won 24 medals of all kinds (4 golds, 4 silvers and 15 bronzes).
The gold winners were Dao Duy Huong at 92kg category, Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son at 55 kg category, Nguyen Van Luong at 48 kg category and Do Van Kien at 35kg category.
“Gold” drops in Tay Yen Tu
(BGO)- The vast forests in the west of Yen Tu mountain range in Son Dong
district, Bac Giang province are wonderful material zones for thousands of bee
colonies to create precious dollops of honey. Beekeepers in this highland has
received good news that the product “Tay Yen Tu honey” was honoured as “Vietnam golden
agricultural brand”.
Golden hearts join hands to fight against pandemic
(BGO) – In response of the letter from the Fatherland
Front’s Committee (FFC) in Bac Giang province to call on all people to join
hands in Covid-19 prevention and control, the FFC’s offices at all levels in
the province have recently become an address for many golden hearts to come to
donate cash, essential goods and man power for Covid-19 combat.
Vietnamese “Golden Lychee” arrives in Australia
The first batch of Vietnamese “Golden Lychee” which distinguishes itself from other varieties with yellowish skin and fresh sweetness has arrived in Australia and hit shelves in West Australia and South Australia.
