Born in a household with educational tradition, the little boy Diem Dang Huan followed the family routine and showed the early passion for study. Since childhood, he searched for the book in anywhere for reading; hence gaining deep knowledge in various fields.

Acknowledging his wide understanding of the social issue, the parent and teachers guided Huan to follow social subjects. Accordingly, the little boy was selected to the team of literature excellent student and bagged several prizes in the school and district level contests. At that time, Huan decided to follow the mathematics team.

“Many people are surprised at my decision, but personally I have thought about it for years”, Huan revealed.

After that, Huan attaches to the subject. He used to secure the first or second ranking at maths in the school for three years at Tan Yen 1 High School. He found it easy to solve the exercises and topic in the educational scheme. Besides, Huan was honored several times for unique solving methods.

When studying at the University of Science (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), Huan was highly appreciated for his activeness in self-study. After graduating from the university, Huan is recruited by BAFU which is a good environment for his further research on maths.

Particularly, Huan secured the excellent ranking in the professional subjects during his study of Masters and Doctorate degrees on applied mathematics. Typically, he had 17 research topics published on the global prestige scientific journeys during the 4-year postgraduate study in China including Asian Control Journey (Taiwan, China); Mathematical Method in the Applied Science (Germany)...

Huan took great effort to study several foreign languages such as English, Chinese and Russian...to ease the scientific research. These languages are so meaningful for his research on maths. For years, he has spent time on research to improve personal profession and career.

For the colleagues and students, Huan is an open-minded and friendly person while he is always serious to himself. He has been bestowed by the Ministry of Education and Training with 2 mathematics prizes since 2015. The professional experts assessed that Huan’s topics are high value in the theory of probability and statistics as well as the calculus, helping develop the differential - derivative equation in the random driving force.

Especially, by the excellent achievement in research, Huan overpassed thousands of candidates to be selected to join the course at Chicago University (the U.S) in 2018. At the destination, he had the chance to exchange and learn the experiences from the international mathematicians.

“With the gained knowledge on maths, I will conduct further researches in the upcoming time to contribute more to both national and international mathematics development”, Huan shared.

Doctor Huan is a bright model on study and research for many teachers and students at the BAFU. The Associate Professor – Doctor Nguyen Quang Ha, BAFU Head said: “Huan is an enthusiastic teacher with a serious spirit in scientific research and high responsibility in developing the university. He often supports the colleagues and students in studying and conducting scientific research”.

With his prominent achievement, Huan has been honored several times by the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Ministry of Education and Training. Also, Huan was recognized as the emulative soldier at ministerial level in 2018.

Research Professor Nguyen Ba Hung of RoK’s University of Ulsan confidently encounters challenges

(BGO) – Meeting Nguyen Ba Hung (born in 1986) after many years from our high school graduation, I really surprised at his maturity. Defending the master thesis at the age of 24, receiving Doctorate Degree at the age of 29 and being appointed the title of Research Professor at the Laboratory of Smart Powertrain in the University of Ulsan (UoU) (Republic of Korea-RoK) one year later….are the outstanding achievements of the young man born in the northern province of Bac Giang. 

 

Dr. Do Duc Ton: " Pride of the homeland urges me to make tireless efforts"

(BGO) – Dr. Do Duc Ton was born in 1984 in Phuc Lam village, Hoang Ninh commune, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province. He graduated from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and served as a lecturer at the University of Water Resources. He defended his doctoral dissertation in the Republic of Korea at the age of 30. He is currently one of the youngest assistant professors in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics at a prestigious university in Kazakhstan.

(BGO) - Being aware of the importance of the Citizenship Education subject in training personality and sharpening life skills for students, over the past many years, teacher Pham Thi Thang of the Secondary School in Thang township, Hiep Hoa district (Bac Giang province) has always explored ways to create a "cathedral" of honesty with stories about the way of life and life skills.

(BGO)- During her 12 years of working, teacher Duong Thi Luyen (born in 1983) of Ngoc Van junior high school in Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province has been awarded the title of the provincial excellent teacher for 10 consecutive years who has taken part in nurturing the district’s excellent students in Civic Education. The excellent students’ team of teacher Luyen has won a number of high prizes for many years.

(BGO)- Recently, Nguyen Van Nam and Than Thi Hoang Yen, teachers of Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology (VK-Tech) in Bac Giang province won the second prize (the highest prize of the province) at the National Vocational Teacher Contest. They are young teachers showing great love for creativity and teaching career who help their students to become good workers.
