Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to honor two party members in Bac Giang
BAC GIANG - To practically celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3 (1930 - 2025) and the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) will organize the first national conference to honor exemplary workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on February 15 and 16 in Hanoi.
On this occasion, the VGCL selected 95 outstanding party members to honor who are workers or managers from the production team leader (or equivalent) or lower in enterprises of all economic sectors with trade unions, with at least 10 years of work experience and 3 years of party membership.

Two of whom come from Bac Giang province, including Pham Van Son (born in 1989), employee of Technical Department, Ha Bac Garment Export Joint Stock Company (Minh Duc branch) in Viet Yen township and Do Thi Hien (born in 1974) in production group No. 3, Environmental team, Bac Giang Urban Construction Management Joint Stock Company (Bac Giang city).
They are two exemplary party members who are excellently complete assigned tasks, especially always ready to take on new and difficult tasks; actively participate in emulation movements launched by the union and the company.
The two members have had many initiatives and improvements in labor, helping increase productivity, product quality, reduce costs and benefit the business.
In production, Son has actively researched and proposed many technical solutions with high applicability and great value such as improving the sewing and gluing methods for the hand and hem insertion stages; using elastic band feeders to support the waistband.
Do Thi Hien actively advises her superiors in the management of the group's work, contributing to the successful implementation of the company's goal. She also has the initiative to change the method of weeding public sidewalks from manual to using a lawn mower (using a rope), helping increase productivity, reduce labor and ensure safety.
Labor export companies are shifting their focus to new markets such as Poland and Australia to find job opportunities for workers.
