The provincial leader emphasized that Bac Giang always attaches importance to friendship with Chinese localities. Currently, Bac Giang has attracted many Chinese investors with more than 200 businesses, leading in total investment capital. Many of them are successful investors, contributing to the local socio-economy.

Recently, the export and import turnover between Bac Giang and China has grown quite well. In 2023, two-way import and export turnover reached 19 billion USD, proving for an increasing trade exchange between the two localities. The PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong hoped that the friendly cooperative relationship between Bac Giang and Chinese localities will be closer.

The Bac Giang provincial leader said that last year, Bac Giang and a number of localities signed friendly cooperation agreements with a number of localities in China. Through promotion occasions, Bac Giang identified China as a long-term, sustainable traditional market for lychee consumption. He expected that the Minister Counselor and the Chinese Embassy will continue supporting Bac Giang to bring lychees to this market.

The PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong also informed that Bac Giang always creates favorable conditions for investors, including businesses from China, and is ready to welcome and accompany them.

The Minister Counselor Wu Guoquan thanked Bac Giang for the thoughtful and warm welcome. He hoped that the Bac Giang PPC will continue directing the authorities to support Chinese businesses investing in Bac Giang as well as facilitate their development.

The Chinese Embassy will introduce Bac Giang to more Chinese investors to explore investment opportunities.

On this occasion, the PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong introduced and presented Danh mountain ginseng - a famous product under One Commune One Product programme of Bac Giang to the Minister Counselor.
