Nong Van Loi in Tan Hoa commune of Luc Ngan district is the owner of a lychee weighing point in Luc Ngan district for many years and also drives a cargo truck.

At the beginning of the season, he bought early ripening lychees in Phuc Hoa commune (Tan Yen district). When the early lychee season gradually ended, he moved to Luc Ngan to weigh main-crop lychees to sell in a number of provinces and cities across the country.

He shared that thanks to new wide highway, this season, he has transported and consumed lychees in very favourable manner.

Fine roads and convenient trade exchange are also one of the reasons why more and more tourists flock to Luc Ngan this lychee season.

To date, the district has welcomed nearly 100 foreign delegations to travel and experience the lychee region. It is expected that this year's lychee season, Luc Ngan will welcome about 250,000 visitors, including about 5,500 international tourists, an increase of 30% compared to the 2023 lychee season.

Since National Highway 31 was expanded, completed and put into use, it has contributed to promoting socio-economic development in several areas where the route passes through such as: Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong.

The renovated and upgraded section of National Highway 31 has a length of more than 39 km, passing through Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Lang Giang districts and Bac Giang city. The road is built in line with the scale of a level III plain road, the road bed is 12 m wide, the road surface is 11 m wide.

National Highway 31 is one of the important arterial roads of Bac Giang province, especially for Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong districts. After about 8 months of operating the renovated and upgraded road, the project proved to help ensure traffic safety, create favorable conditions for the transportation of goods, reduce time and costs, expand space, promote economic development and create many new job opportunities for people and businesses, especially in Luc Ngan and Luc Nam lychee areas.

Also, it supports to boost the cultural exchanges, especially in remote areas of the province; gradually complete the local transportation network so it creates a "transformation" for the localities where the road passes through.
