Chairman of Bac Giang People’s Committee visits and works with FPT in Da Nang
BAC GIANG - A delegation from Bac Giang Province, led by Nguyen Viet Oanh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC), recently paid a working visit to FPT in Da Nang. Joining the delegation were Mai Son, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders from various provincial departments and agencies.
The visit aimed to explore FPT’s business ecosystem in Da Nang, including its technology urban development model. Bac Giang is assessing the potential for future collaboration, with the intention of developing a similar high-tech urban area in the province.

FPT’s integrated ecosystem in Da Nang encompasses core sectors such as technology, telecommunications and education — establishing a solid foundation for a modern technology city, where smart infrastructure enables an efficient, convenient, and sustainable living and working environment.
Nguyen Tuan Phuong, Chairman of FPT Software for the Central region, introduced the F-Complex, a centralized IT park home to thousands of engineers. The facility plays a key role in the regional tech industry and makes a significant contribution to the city’s budget.
Le Quang Tien, a founding member of FPT and Chairman of FPT City, presented an overview of FPT’s flagship projects within the technology urban area in Da Nang. He emphasized the company’s experience and the feasibility of applying similar models in Bac Giang.
At the meeting, the PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son expressed hopes for a long-term and sustainable partnership with FPT, particularly in gaining knowledge and best practices for developing a semiconductor-focused urban area in Bac Giang.
This proposed tech hub is expected to attract investment, assemble a skilled workforce of engineers and experts and drive sustainable socio-economic growth for the province.

Speaking at the session, PPC Chairman Nguyen Viet Oanh praised FPT’s strategic vision and affirmed that Bac Giang would create favorable conditions and stand ready to accompany FPT in realizing future cooperation plans.
During the working trip, the delegation also visited FPT’s high-tech R&D and semiconductor center at Software Park No. 2 in Da Nang. FPT representatives showcased strategic technology solutions for digital government, healthcare, education and smart city management — all positioned to accelerate comprehensive and effective digital transformation.
