Fifty-one young skilled workers honoured
The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organised a programme me to honour 51 “Young Skilled Workers” nationwide for the 15th time in 2025 a nd the “Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy” Music Festival on May 26.
The Young Skilled Workers Award is an activity organised by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union every two years, aiming to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity of young people and to encourage and motivate young workers to actively study and improve their professional skills, contributing to building a high-quality young human resource to serve the cause of national construction.

The 51 faces honoured this year come from many different professions, fields, and localities, but all have the aspiration to rise up, the spirit of dedication, and the determination to master professional skills in the new era.

Held since 2009, through 14 award ceremonies, the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union has honoured 878 examples of Young Skilled Workers.
The examples honoured are vivid evidence of the results of the process of striving with persistent efforts and are typical examples of the spirit of creativity and dedication for the development of the unit, locality and country.
The award has contributed to motivating and encouraging young workers and young labourers to constantly strive and strive to achieve new achievements in labour production, with achievements each year being better than the previous year, more effective than the previous year and closely following the requirements set forth in the development process at each unit and enterprise.
The average age of the 51 Young Skilled Workers honoured this time is around 32 years old, with the youngest being 27 years old. There are 7 worker delegates and 44 engineers and technicians.
These are typical representatives in various industries and fields of production and labour, always having a proactive, pioneering and creative spirit in performing assigned tasks.
